Current Offerings

These coffees are in stock and ready to be roasted.

This is where you can find what’s in stock right now. When possible, I try to buy from Sweet Maria’s Farm Gate program, which guarantees 50% or more over Fair Trade price minimums. This means growers and producers are getting a fair price paid directly to the farmer and not through a series of brokers, and middle tiers. I don’t specifically look for organic, though many of the coffees I buy may be certified organic. Many of the world coffee farmers are using organic methods out of economics anyway – chemical sprays and fertilizers are expensive. Getting certified organic is also expensive.

Single Origins

Brazil – $15 – for a classic cup that tastes like coffee. High quality Brazils are generally nutty and sweet. Not particularly tricked out with any wild flavors, but a solid cup of coffee.

Ethiopia – $15 – A more fruit influenced cup, medium body.

Nicaragua – $15 – A balanced cup with good body and sweetness. Carmel and walnut with tannic black tea finish

Kenya Nyeri – $15 – This is an excellent Kenyan coffee. Raw sugars, with accents of red berry, lemon gelatin, holiday ginger spice cookies, and a dark black tea/tannic bittering quality.

Decaf – $15 – I try to always keep a decaf in stock. Right now, that is a Swiss Water decaf from Nicaragua.
